About four hours of beautiful scenery consisting of undulating hills and little villages await you on the scenic trip from Rabat to Chefchaouen.
Once you arrive at your hotel or riad in Chefchaouen, you will have some free time to explore. Famous for its unusual blue-washed structures, the city exudes a charming and lovely atmosphere. Great cuisine, breathtaking views, and cultural events will make your day in Chefchaouen one to remember. Remember to pack your camera so you can take in the splendor of this amazing town!
Start your morning on your Riad with a delectable breakfast before embarking on an enchanted tour of the picturesque Rif villages. Travel over the untainted countryside of Morocco to Volubilis, a once-thriving Roman city.
Explore Volubilis' intriguing past and see the well-preserved remains. Admire the elaborate mosaics and imposing buildings, which provide a window into the lives of the ancient Romans and date back to the third century. After this historical immersion, we will go to Meknes, the capital of Morocco in the 17th century.
After a filling lunch, we will visit Medina, a quaint, walled ancient town with the well-known Bab el Mansour gate. See the elaborate sculptures and motifs on the gate, then pay a visit to the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, a hallowed location honoring the well-known Sultan Moulay Ismail. After our day of discovery, we will travel to Fes, where we will spend a lovely evening at a beautiful Riad.
Set off on an enthralling full-day tour of Fes with a local guide. Fes, Morocco's cultural and religious center and imperial city, opens up its rich past and cultural gems for you to explore.
Explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site-designated medieval Medina, which begins with the Royal Palace entrance. Explore the gems that are Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Chouara Tanneries; each one has fascinating architecture and intricate patterns.

After breakfast at your Fes riad, we will go into the desert. Traveling south in the direction of Merzouga, you will pause briefly to take in the views at Ifrane. Next, we will go to a Middle Atlas Mountains cedar forest, where we will come across several Barbary apes. We'll go to the Ziz Valley, which is well-known for its palm-tree-filled oasis, after lunch at a café along the route.
You will arrive in the desert in the afternoon and launch a real camel caravan across Erg Chebbi's sand dunes. Hike across the desert and stop to see a brilliant sunset from a top dune. Then proceed to your opulent desert camp. When you arrive, camp staff will take you to your own tent where you can relax and change. After a satisfying meal, gather around a campfire under the starry sky as camp staff perform Berber music and drums. There's also the chance to pick up drumming.
Today, it's strongly advised to get up early to see the amazing sunrise over Erg Chebbi's dunes. After a wonderful breakfast, you may take a 4x4 car or a camel to Merzouga. The next leg of your trip toward Dades Gorge will be ready for you to take with your driver.
